On the 4^th of April 2022, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will publish the third part (WG3) of its 6^th Assessment Report (AR6) entitled “Mitigation of Climate Change”. The Scientific Advisory Committee of CO₂ Value Europe has participated in the two-round expert review of this report and for the first time in 30 years, the concept of Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) is expected to be discussed there as a solution to mitigate climate change. To highlight the key messages related to CCU in this report and to connect high level scientists and policy makers on this subject, CO₂ Value Europe organises a conference at the Press Club in Brussels on the 26^th of April 2022. Most speakers will be present in person, but the event will also be live streamed and later on available on the platforms brussels.climate. This is a free event open to all.
