Metering and monitoring technologies for CO2 transport

Transport of captured carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the key elements of CO2 chain, and metering and monitoring technologies are essential to assure safety and reliability of the whole process. 

This webinar will provide an overview of the metering needs for CCUS, discuss the challenges for transport monitoring and highlight the impact and the intercorrelations of the most critical measurements. Furthermore, some of the latest test results for flow meters in gas and dense phase CO2 will be presented. Focus will be on the transferability of calibration between water or nitrogen and CO2. Additionally, recommendations and outline of plans for future investigations will be provided.
