Course 'Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage' is going live again soon!

CAPTURE, TRANSPORT, STORAGE
The atmosphere is a shared resource and the amount of greenhouse gases it can absorb is a finite resource. This introductory course to the technology of Carbon Capture and Storage is designed for a wider audience with an interest in energy, sustainability and climate change.

Hello, and thank you again for joining us earlier on "Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage".

Congratulations to all of you who completed the course last year. We are pleased to announce that a third edition of the course will start on 25th November 2019.

If you have enjoyed the course, we would really appreciate if you could help us to spread the word to your friends, family, and colleagues. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising.

We would also greatly appreciate a bit of support on social media. If you use twitter, we use the hashtag #CCSMOOC

The course re-starts in a timely manner a week prior to COP25, the UN Climate Change Conference in Madrid in Spain, where the world meets to discuss how to implement the Paris Climate Changement Agreement of 2015.

We hope that by re-launching the course now, we can spread the word further about the key role of Carbon Capture and Storage to policymakers, environmentalists, campaigners, NGOs, the media and the general public.

The course content is similar, and the course team will continue to interact with our learners over the coming weeks, answering and debating questions in the course forums.

For further details, and to enroll, please visit https://www.edx.org/course/climate-change-carbon-capture-and-storage-2

We hope many of you will join us again for a journey into exploring one of the most important climate change technology.

Best wishes,

The University of Edinburgh
