Carbon dioxide

CAPTURE

CO2 Capture in CCUS is the process of capturing CO2 emitted during industrial processes and power generation instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. Direct Air Capture captures CO2 from the atmosphere.

CO2 Capture technologies need to be implemented within acceptable cost levels in terms of additional energy required and capital investment. There is a need to further develop existing technologies and to create new ones to increase efficiency and to reduce the cost of currently available CO2 Capture solutions.
